Project coordinator Senior Flexonics Crumlin (SFC) hosted our final consortium meeting this week, at their R&D facility in South Wales.
SFC’s Charlie Penny led the meeting, supported by Luke Selway and Dominic Moules. PNO Consultants, who support SFC on project management and reporting plus communication, dissemination and exploitation, were represented by Lyndsey Starr, who was supported by James Craven and James Hughes. SFC’s sister company, Senior Flexonics Olomouc (SFO), were represented by Lubos Svidrnoch and Michal Lubojacky. Sunfire’s Dr. Tobias Seidel, Frank Mittmann and Rena Gradmann attended the meeting, with Vaillant’s Jochen Paulus participating remotely. The University of Birmingham was represented by Dr. Robert Steinberger-Wilckens and Kun Zhang.
Topics discussed included progress and further key achievements since the last meeting in ongoing activities such as materials research and testing, SOFC mCHP system build and testing and the transfer, installation and commissioning of new process tooling/equipment at SFO. There was also much focus on the next steps for our project’s final reporting.
