12th European SOFC and SOE Forum

The 12th European SOFC and SOE Forum, which focuses on solid oxide fuel cells and solid oxide electrolysers, is taking place in Switzerland, 5th-8th July 2016. This forum is the highlight of these European solid oxide based technologies and the topics covered will include fundamental science and new materials, through cell, stack, and system development, to the latest results from commercial deployment. To find out more about this event you can visit the official website: http://www.efcf.com/index.php?id=1837

HEATSTACK partner Sunfire GmbH will be attending this event so why not find out more about their role in the project and the technology they develop and produce, which includes high-temperature fuel cell (SOFC) and electrolyser (SOEC) systems. To find out more about Sunfire, you can view their profile on our website: http://www.heatstack.eu/partners/

Sunfire will also be contributing to a session at the forum on 6th July with updates on “25kW Stack Module Development Status at Sunfire (A0305)” and “Development and Demonstration of a Novel Reversible SOFC System for Utility and Micro Grid Energy Storage (A0306)”. Sunfire have also contributed to the poster sessions at the forum, namely “MK235-stack – ready for mass market (A0508)” and “Design, Synthesis and Characterisation of Glasses and Glass-Ceramics for Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cells (B0633)”.
